Yeap, I say it again, a whooping 250million users on the Net registered to Facebook! And, you know what, the numbers are growing and it grow fast. And have you ever wonder how you can leverage on this? Why not advertise on Facebook? While avertising using Google adwords is great, it’s even better to have your advertisement on somebody else Facebook account. The chances are even greater because Facebook allows 3 adverts at one time. Now lets try register one shall we
1. First you need to register to Facebook of course. Click the Create an Ad item.

2. You’ll be directed to the Facebook advertising page. Feel free to read the facts and figures. Are you ready to advertise? Now lets create an ad shall we.

3. Design Your Ad.
- Destination URL: You can use your affiliate link, or a landing page. There are no quality scores, or full sites needed. In most cases, you can link directly to the affiliate url.
- Title: The title is what your user is going to see, and make them click. The better the title, the higher the click through rate.
- Body Text: This is usually the generic information that helps in deciding if Facebook will approve your ad. In this particular example, Facebook likes you to list the process needed for the viewer to take to receive their free iPhone. Again, the better the writing, the better the click through rate.
- Image: Usually more important than your title, is your image. Depending on the ad used, you can get creative with this. Draw attention to your ad by using a funny picture, or something out of the ordinary… but still relevant to the ad. Take some extra time to choose a high quality image and do any necessary cropping so it fits correctly.

4. Targeting - Next, you have to target your segmented audience. The key success factor in this area is the use of KEYWORD. Besides our own keyword, Facebook has also landed a few suggested keyword, incase you are running out of ideas. This will make or break your campaign. You can deplete your account funds in no time. Trust me..

5. Campaign and Pricing - OK. Now you have your ad up and running., Next is the most important one. Well, designing your ad is important too, but this is where you need to set your ad pricing. The most important part in this section is the “Daily Budget”. Bear in my mind that, Facebook have HUGE users….very huge numbers. You can go through thousand of dollars in minutes. So set by daily budget wisely. When setting up a campaign, you will need to test what CPC amount is right for you to spend. While testing, I would set the daily budget in the $5-$20 range. As for the CPC rate, I usually put 30-50% of what their actual suggestion is.

6. Review Your Ad – Satisfied? Ready to unleashed your ad campaign? You can change you ad by clicking “Change Ad” link or you can simply click “Place Order” and you campaign will go into que for approval.

So, hope this will help you to advertise better on Facebook. Spend your money wise!
