Simply Magic!Cyril T anyone?

In 1980s – early 1990s, I were mesmerized by the Great Magician David Copperfield. I remember the this one trick-or magic, when he make the Statue of Liberty disappeared. Cool!!

I thought that was it. The one and only guy that can make me believe Magic is everywhere and that Magic is real. But then when I thought everything is over, enter David Blaine. Huh? Another David?

David Blaine combined Magic and endurance all together. Drowned alive, standing on top of a pole for so many hours, trapped in iceberg in the center of New York, and lot more crazy and unbelievable stuff he did. This guy is the best!

How about Criss Angel? I don’t watch his show that much, but yeah…he’s a freak. Freak can do Magic.

The magician duo from Mondo Magic, JBenn and Chris Korn performed at the street of Singapore. They are known for their card tricks. Burning cards, card in a fish mouth, card stick in the mirror, and cards, cards and more cards.

And yes, the latest. He’s not in the same league as Copperfield and Baline yet, but he’s surely high above the Mondo duo and Angel. He is, Cyril Takayama. He’s got the persona, the smile, the humor, the speed (but not the endurance), the passion and some cool Magic in his sleeves.

Watching Cyril performed at Singapore and Malaysia, I’m confidence that he’s going to stay in the business for a long time. Catch him next Thursday, 9pm on AXN where he performed at Manila. He saves the best for the last!

Oprah to end talk show

Everybody loves Oprah. I enjoy watching her talk show. She inspired a lot of people and communities. She’s like Michael Jackson-that-can’t-sing.

But,rumors has spread that 2011 will be the last year for Queen of Talk, Oprah Winfrey hosting its talk show at CBS TV. To be precise, its Sept 09.

Reason, well she has had her own TV cable. and I guess its time she concentrate on her own network.

Anyway, that leaves us with a vacancy to fill at CBS. Anybody interested? Ha..ha..ha…

So you think you can dance?

Great! Finally I found one TV show that can really make me stick and enjoy every minute of it for a while. The latest season, if I’m not mistaken its season 4 already, had started its airtime last Tuesday, 8.00 pm on AXN (channel 701 Astro).

The participants are paired and being given a different music discipline. Here you can see people dancing on hip hop, contemporary, ballet, disco and some other music discipline that I’m not familiar at all.

But I enjoy it very much. They really dance with their heart. They look passionate and very determine to show what they are made of. You know what? I really think they can dance. At least much, much better than me.
