I’m Not Normal but That’s Good

It’s true. I’m not trying to hold anything back.

My work as a blogger, an Internet Marketer, a forex trader and an entrepreneur requires 200% of my time and resources. I believe the skills I acquire now is the way to success in this 21^st century. There’s a huge shift going on now, thanks to globalization and the internet of course, and those who can create and express thoughts and ideas online will be at the top of the economic radar.

I’m not normal because I believe my work in this online world or to be precise, blogosphere, makes me ahead at least 95% of the total population.

Seriously. The different between me and some of the guys out there is simple – I’ve taken action. I got a lot of friends telling me that they want to be an entrepreneur, and they want to work from home and free themselves from their 9 – 5 job (actually it’s the bos that they hate).

But that’s the only thing they do. You see, there’s a big difference between taking action and “thinking” and “telling” others what you want to do.

Most people never get near to their dreams simply because they never start. It makes sense! If you never start anything, how can you expect to move from point A to point B? From nothing to everything? From zero to unlimited amount of money that you dream.

The process starts with getting start. Period.

You see, it’s so unfortunate that people are willing to work very hard, sometime it requires them to sacrifice their weekends with family, for somebody else but yet earn very little. If, and only if, you put the same amount of effort to fulfill your own dream, I strongly believe, you’re halfway there. You, my friend are breathing success! And that’s Good!

Go for your dream. It’s not somebody’s else. It’s yours.

Another thing that makes me un-normal is the way I navigate the internet. It’s above the average. Well I’m not the excellent but I’m confident enough to say that I’m above average. I understand it better, understand how to benefit from it and more likely I’ll find anything I want from it. Sounds good?

It gets better. I also make money from it. It’s a fact.

I’m telling you now and I will tell you again. Everything you read till now is a process. Everything needs a process. And the very early stage of a process is start.

I believe you are above the average too. You see, most people are not like us at all. In fact some are less sophisticated when it comes to navigating online. You might think nobody will buy “Z” because you wouldn’t, but it’s the wrong way to see it.

From my experience, some users are so limited to only emails and some basic search. And they are still finding their ways through.

Understand that and you’ll realize that there are seas of opportunities to offer them. And they will definitely happy to pay for.

If you look at the big picture, it’s like a jigsaw puzzle, where you got hundreds or thousands of pieces. In order for you to complete the picture perfect, you have to first start, sort, and combine them into useful chunks. By then, you’ll be able to see them clearly.

Now, replace the jigsaw puzzle pieces with information. You start to look for information on the internet, you sort them accordingly and combine them to make it simple and useful. What you’re actually doing is you are putting something together that some would won’t and can’t do it. It’s amazing!

And that my friend, is an opportunity.

The last thing that makes me not normal is I like to read. And I hope you like it too.

Guess what? Most people don’t.

My ex-bos used to say, “A great leader is a great reader”. And I believe him.

The seed of reading basically starts when we’re at our primary school. Our education system used to make us read because we need to pass the exam. So what we actually did was telling our subconscious mind that reading is for student. And student need to pass their exams to get good grades.

It’s not the case now. I hope at this stage you have already realize what are the benefits of reading to you. Yes, the government have produce statistics to show that our society doesn’t like to read. But, from my opinion, the sources of data are not complete. How can you measure if someone is reading directly from the internet; from blogs, newsletter, online magazine, ezine, etc.?

Another fact; people who doesn’t like to read still want to learn. It’s just the intermediate medium.

If they don’t like to read, get them to hear and watch. It’s more interactive and fun. Provide them with something that they can navigate through their free times. I called them virtual learning environment. And there’s a lot of money to be made with them.

I’m no Superman. But Superman doesn’t start flying until he learn the process of flying. At the very beginning I always wanted to be different and not normal. And here I am. Not normal. At least I’m good at it.
