It is often the hardest step is the first one. It’s even amazing how many people want to become rich and famous, but took little or less effort to achieve their own dream. From my personal opinion, there’s no better way to become what you really want than ENTREPRENEURSHIP.
We can pick our poison, whether its internet marketing, Multi level marketing, blogging or trading, I strongly believe the keyword here is you as an entrepreneur. My ex boss always said “There’s no good business, there’s only good people”. I believed it then and I believe it now.
A lack of capital has always been the wall for any new entrepreneur to start their business. You see, when I quit my job, I have very little savings. At that time, I was trading forex with a capital of usd500 and a return of 20% – 40% monthly. It ain’t much but enough as my daily job covers everything.
Now its a different field. There’s no monthly paycheck, no punch card, no unnecessary meetings whatsoever.
I say, if you want to start a business, you may want to check the list:
- You have to choose your business right. You can build your business based on your hobbies, interest and your expertise.
- You have to have networks. Business networks, suppliers, vendors and manufactures.
- You have to learn to communicate. Communication is king. Communication will buy you more time, more discounts, longer terms and faster delivery.
- You need to respect those who have been in the business before you. It’s important for you not to shout at the world saying you’re ready to conquer the market. There’s always a player in every niche. Learn from their mistakes.
- You have to learn to accept losses and ignorance. If you are new, it’s unlikely people will award you with projects worth hundreds thousands. You may and may not get the job. You may and may not be ignore everytime you call them and everytime you present by their office. It’s normal. Live by it.
- You should learn how to leverage on others. It’s complicated for first timer but you’ll soon learn it.
These are some of my checklist. The list can be longer. But it’s good enough for today.
May your entrepreneurship spirit blooms!
